How to make Liquid Organic Fertilizers at home?
Many of us know that one gram of domestic cow dung contains 300 million to 500 million microorganisms. It can be multiplied by fermentation.
We have ruined the soil by adding chemical fertilizers to the soil. There would be no need for chemical fertilizers if we revive the soil to its life.
Let’s know how to make it
What materials does it take to make a 200kg Liquid Organic Fertilizer?
- Fresh Desi cow dung 10 kg. (up to 5 days old)
- Gomutra(Cow Urin) 10 liters.
- Khati Gur or Cheeta Gur 2 kg.
- Besan of Aarhar Dal or Chana Dal 2 kg.
- 176Ltr of water.
- 250 grams of soil in areas where chemical pesticides are not used, such as Bamboo Bushes or Banyan trees.
Steps to Follow for homemade liquid organic fertilizers
- Take water in a bucket and mix the cow dung.
- Then mix and pour one by one Chita Gur, Besan, Cow Urine, Chemical free Soil into the drum.
- Mix the Liquid at Clockwise with a stick In the morning and afternoon. (Do not mix it to anticlockwise)
- Cover with cloth or bark. For 48 hours in summer, 96 hours in winter.
Now it’s Done!
Now filter it with cloth. Mix it with 10 to 15 times water in it. Now use it in the canopy of trees, or drain between two small trees. Then cover the entire area with straw, leaves, and mulch it.
Bacteria present in cow dung or soil multiply after twenty minutes in contact with Chita Gur. Bacteria’s would multiply at the rate of 2,4,8,16,32,64.
As a result, it increases manifold. Besan is the food of Bacteria’s used in Liquid.
Now it would increase the amount of earthworms when applied to your soil.
Billions of microorganisms will grow in the soil.
